No Such Thing as Rain

There is no such thing as rain,

Yet I feel so drenched.

Droplets fall on my head,

And soak me through to my soul.

(How I wish someone would have told me sooner that)

The Devil holds a mighty hose

And douses me perpetually,

But in my hand, I wield the spigot.
